STORY :
This one is very personal.
I was in Mauritius where my family come from.
It was when my parents were going through their divorce.
I heard my father saying really bad thing about my mom to my aunt in a bedroom.
It was horrible.
I spent my time in the car looking at the moon who was following us as usual.
I was talking to her in my head to make me feel better.
She's my best friend up to now.
I kind of stole the strumming pattern of "Jane S. Piddy" by Sixto Rodrigez.
LYRICS :
There is something in the night
Something really nice
I look at it and I blink twice
Is it the cold ?
Is it the white ?
There is something my brain just ever knew
There is something in the rain
Something full of pain
I just think about the planes
No I don't want to cry again cause
There is something my ears have never choose
I don't like the weather
When they call it winter
Just bring back the summer
Now the fun is over ...
Again
There is something in the sky
Yes, you know
Something really bright ...
There you go
Following you in the car
It seems so close
But yet so far and
I want to think that he is loving you
Tell me something nice man
Something I understand
Do you feel alone there ?
Do you know the prophet ?
Okay ...
When the day is being sad
My son
Don't think about talking to anyone
They're just gonna tell you that :
"You're doing wrong"
"You're doing bad", no
Just wait the night and then talk to the moon
And you will feel the sight of God on you
